The manufacturer of rubber insulated low-voltage and mediumvoltage cables extends the J-Flex APS solution already in use for planning and scheduling processes, to the J-Flex MES solution for manufacturing execution.
A decision which confirms the strategic partnership with Tecnest and Aristoncavi.
Founded in 1958, today Aristoncavi is one of the most important independent manufacturers of rubber insulated low-voltage and mediumvoltage cables.
Since its foundation it has grown up to the present 35.000 sqm, due to a recent expansion and reallocation of the manufacturing sites and warehouses, shared between the two production units dedicated to the manufacture of conductors and electric cables, for different applications.

A new Automotive-industry-leader company became part of the Tecnest customer network.
SPAL Automotive, the world-leader Italian company in the design and manufacture of high quality electric fans and blowers for all types of vehicles and equipments, chose the J-Flex Advanced Planning & Scheduling solution.
J-Flex had been chosen in order to fulfill the following needs: increasing the productivity inside the Correggio plant, and improving the service level to final customers, especially in terms of delivery dates' reliability.
According to these needs, SPAL automotive's top management chose the J-Flex APS solution for production processes' planning and scheduling, which will be integrated to the company existing ERP system.
A world-leader company, a new important customer which is now part of Tecnest's numerous experience in the Automotive manufacturing industry.
The new year started with great projects and good future perspectives for Tecnest at international level.
After the successful implementation of the J-Flex APS and MES solutions in the Lucca headquarter, Tecnest's Customer Fabio Perini Spa took the decision to extend this solution to all group sites in Italy, Brazil and China.
Fabio Perini is part of the Körber PaperLink group and it is a leading company specialized in machinery for the tissue industry.
The manufacturing plants are in Italy (Lucca and Bologna), in Brazil and in China.
According to the project plan, the J-Flex software solution will be firstly implemented in the Bologna and in the brazilian plants. As a second step, the solution will be extended to the chinese site.
This is an important and challenging opportunity both for Tecnest and for Fabio Perini which strengthens the existing strategic partnership between the two companies.



Tecnest will participate to the 17th edition of the Global Logistics Summit taking place on the 23rd and 24th at the Centro Congressi Hotel Parchi del Garda, in Lazise (VR).
Here Tecnest will present the results of the Case History Akrapovic, world leader manufacturer of top-quality exhaust systems for motorcycles and sport cars. The project carried out by Tecnest consists in the implementation of a scheduling solution baszed on the innovative "Assembly Line Crew Scheduling" Model, thanks to which the company increased its efficiency of + 10%.
The presentation, performed by Mr. Massimiliano Oleotto, Tecnest Supply Chain Expert, is scheduled at 2 pm on the 24th November.
